First Sessions
We understand the importance of selecting the right professional
coach for your needs. In fact to ensure the right fit, we
highly encourage you to interview several coaches before selecting
a practitioner for
services. Unfortunately, due to increased demand for our
services, we are unable to offer a first session free of charge.
We will, however,
schedule 30 minute telephone discussions with interested clients to
answer any questions about our services and understand if we are a mutual fit.
Contact our executive coordinator, Monica Evans, at ea@potentialmatters.com or via direct line at 404-931-4012. To reach Jodie Charlop directly, email jcharlop@potentialmatters.com or 404-378-6793.
Our Fees
Coaching services are billed on an hourly basis, or private clients
may take advantage of pre-paid session packages to achieve additional
cost-savings.
Fees for private career coaching is $175-$225 per hour depending on package. Corporate sponsored executive coaching, high-potential development, conflict coaching and mediation coaching ranges from $300-$450 per hour. Ask about special hourly rates if you are a professional in a non-profit, a member of the Emory University Alumni Association or Women in Technology. We also have special rates for young professionals but have a limited number of coaching slots on our roster for professionals with fewer than five years experience (referral only). Potential Matters believes in giving back to the community and Jodie Charlop awards two coaching scholarships a quarter and/or reduced fee programs to professionals with unique potential.
Payment Policy
Payment for services is due in full at time of service by check or credit card. Potential Matters currently accepts American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. The new client forms (linked above) include credit card authorization for reserving appointment times. If the credit card is declined after client has received services, or a check is returned, there is a $50 non-refundable handling charge.
Cancellation Policy
Scheduled appointments must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance or the client will be charged in full for the scheduled session and NO REFUNDS will be issued. Monday appointments must be cancelled no later than 5:00 pm on the Friday prior to the session.
Credit Card Information
Potential Matters currently accepts American Express, Visa or MasterCard. All credit card charges are processed by Potential Matters and will appear on your credit card statement as Potential Matters. If you have a dispute or require a credit to be issued, please contact Potential Matters directly at business@potentialmatters.com. All credit card disputes must be handled directly with Potential Matters for appropriate refund or adjustment and all chargebacks are subject to a non-refundable fee of $50 per transaction.
Corporate Billing
Many companies today will pay for coaching services as part
of an individual’s professional development or education program.
So I encourage clients to ask employers about their policy on paying
for coaching services as part of a professional development program.
With advance approval, Potential Matters will make arrangements for
corporate billing. Clients can make arrangements for corporate payment
net-15 days or Potential Matters will pre-bill clients based on a pre-determined
number of sessions for a 3-month period. Clients are responsible for
all payments, regardless if corporate billing is established. Late payments
by the client’s company on more than one occasion within a six-month
billing period will result in the client reverting back to a direct pay
at the time of service.
Corporate Accounts Potential Matters offers corporate agreements customized to
the needs of its corporate clients. Companies can utilize
coaching on a project or developmental basis. Terms of service,
fees and policies will be clearly defined in an agreement
between the corporate client and Potential Matters.
Our online assessment center is user friendly and intuitive to navigate. You may access our tools at any time via the Web, and the assessments on average should not take more than 20-30 minutes of your time. If you have any problems with access, please call me and I will be happy to assist you to complete.
