Jodie has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and agency settings, along with advanced study in professional counseling and human behavior. She brings to her clients a unique understanding of corporate communication, organizational and system dynamics, human behavior, and business principles. Her professional and consulting experience includes Fortune 500 and high-growth public companies, pre-IPO start up ventures, non-profit, consulting and professional services, government agencies and educational institutions.

“Prior to launching Potential Matters, my career as a communications executive allowed me to work on a broad range of communication and business initiatives from internal change management and communication programs to complex public-facing crises,” Jodie explains. “I’ve experienced first-hand the barriers that companies and individuals face in dealing with change in corporate settings. I’ve observed the pain points that executives face when business intersects with complex human dynamics. I’ve worked on enough downsizing or outsourcing initiatives to know that every professional needs to be prepared for corporate change at all times. And I’ve seen the results for those who do it well, and the consequences for those who don’t. Coaching is a vital service for professionals who want to navigate and survive the natural dysfunction that is business today.”

Jodie’s credentials include a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University, and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.
